We had a fun time filming a scene this weekend with Thomas Vilorio. Though the weather was working against us his professionalism probably saved the day. The heavy rains made a mess of the subways and the trains were running late. We had two outdoor scenes planned and the intermittent drizzle and downpours made me think we should cancel the day.

Thomas was calm though and suggested we continue and wait for the camera op to make his way through the subway. Eventually we started and in between rain showers he delivered an excellent performance. Then, thanks to some quick rescheduling by my producer Meghan, we finished two indoor scenes and ended up with a very productive day.

Thomas has been a producer, director and writer. After graduating from law school in the Dominican Republic, Thomas returned to New York and attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He has performed in many off Broadway stage productions, independent films, and in primetime and cable television series. Thomas is looking forward to many more acting experiences.
